Bonnie - Helen Hawkins

Bonnie Helen Hawkins Bonnie paints her native South Wales but has recently discovered the dramatic landscape around Vancouver in British Columbia. Much of her new work is a simple reflection of the outstanding beauty of that country, and also an intuitive reaction to its overwhelming natural wonder.

She says
"Colour and light are the keystones of my work. I am interested in the pursuit of beauty, whether it is the tapestry of a forest or a wild seascape. Using brushstrokes, lines and intense colour, I try to convey a sense of immediacy, vitality and life."

Bonnie's work has been collected for many years and can be found in homes all around the world.

Taken from an original oil painting "Towards The Light " is a tryptych which also works well as individual prints.

The Giclee's are retailed in three separate Collections:

The Platinum Collection.
A very special giclée reproduction on canvas. Once you have decided which painting is to be yours, the giclée can be printed to your required size, meaning that as the collector you get exactly what you need to enhance your home or office. Using the latest technology, the original painting is scanned to the highest possible resolution before being color matched by an expert. Each reproduction is hand stretched by a master framer before being embellished by the artist. Your gicleee is then finished with an anti scratch UVA filter varnish which will protect it for many years to come. Each giclee produced in this manner is unique and is the closest any collector can get to owning an original work of art. A great deal of time and care is required to create The Platinum Collection and numbers are limited.

The Collectors Edition.
Reproduced using the same methods as the Platinum Collection, The Collectors Edition is a giclée on paper or canvas, signed and numbered by the artist. Usually slightly smaller than the original painting, The Collectors Edition is sold mounted and wrapped so that you can choose your own framing to suit your personal interior design. Once again size and edition number are restricted.
